Moda

In computer science, „Moda“ typically refers to a statistical measure of central tendency. It is the value (or values) that appears most frequently in a data set. In the context of data analysis, the mode can be particularly useful for understanding the distribution of data points, especially for categorical data where some categories appear more often than others.

The mode can be singular (one mode) or multimodal (more than one mode) if multiple values have the same highest frequency. Unlike the mean and median, the mode is not affected by outliers, making it a robust measure in certain scenarios. The concept of mode is commonly applied in data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning to summarize and interpret data sets effectively.
